What is Naturopathy
Fitness is essential for all human beings to lead a content life. Without fitness, there is not much else for any person. Every individual needs to be fit to follow their dreams and do the things they wish to do in life. This is where naturopathy comes in. Naturopathy helps to keep the body fit and spirit alive without the need for harmful drugs and medicines. Since fitness is of prime importance to everybody, students of naturopathy are in high demand. Naturopathy involves the study of the natural healing powers of the body itself. Exercises and yoga techniques are used, among others, to help the body heal its digestive system, circulatory system, excretory system, respiratory system, and all other organs of the body. Entrance Exams for Naturopathy
For this course, there is no one particular entrance exam to qualify for. Most institutes that offer Bachelor’s in Naturopathy have their entrance examinations unique to their institution. Having a thorough knowledge of the 10+2 science material and going through a few books on naturopathy should be sufficient for qualifying in these entrance examinations.
Following this entrance test, there is generally a round of personal interviews or group discussions where they question the candidate about the reasons behind choosing the course and certain course-related trivia and general aptitude.
Some institutions also offer seats solely based on scores at the 10+2 level. Once all the examination formalities are completed, the merit list of the college is issued by the institution where the selected candidates are mentioned. The entrance procedure varies across different institutions.
Looking at the high demand for these professionals, the scope is very wide, both in India and abroad. Naturopathy has a huge audience in India as many households do not wish to consume allopathic medicines for their ailments.
Job opportunities are easily available as not many people opt for this course and hence, the job opportunities in this realm are not yet saturated. Students of this course can work in the fields of naturopathy practice, nutrition, dietetics, neurophysiology, acupuncture, homoeopathy, among a plethora of others.

Course Curriculum for Naturopathy
The Bachelor’s programme covers the basics of naturopathy and natural medicine. It covers the theories and skills behind natural healing.
