National Institute of Technical Education & Research (NITER), New Delhi is an autonomous vocational education and training institute, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) with the Government of NCT of Delhi, having its mode of operation across India.
The institute is engaged in skill-based education and professional training in the fields of Paramedical Technology, Yoga & Naturopathy, Yoga Education, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and other allied vocational disciplines.
NITER designs its own curriculum and training framework, conducts internal academic assessments, and provides institutional certificates to students on successful completion of the prescribed training programs.
The institute’s academic content and course material are copyright registered under the Copyright Act, 1957, vide registration number 8442/2024-CO/L.

Academic & Training Collaboration
National Institute of Technical Education & Research (NITER) maintains academic and training collaborations with allied institutions for the purpose of practical exposure, academic support, faculty interaction and skill development activities.
These collaborations are non-statutory in nature and are intended to strengthen the training delivery and learning environment. Such collaborations do not confer government recognition, university affiliation or statutory authority upon any of the participating institutions.
Examination and Assessment System
National Institute of Technical Education & Research (NITER) follows an internal assessment and evaluation system as part of its vocational and skill based training programs.
The institute conducts institutional examinations, practical assessments and performance evaluations in accordance with its approved curriculum and training guidelines.
Results are declared by the institute after due evaluation, and course completion certificates are issued to students who successfully meet the prescribed academic and practical requirements of the program.
All examinations and assessments conducted by NITER are institutional in nature and are meant solely for academic evaluation within the institute, and do not represent government, university or statutory examinations.
